Parfum, a restaurant of original French cuisine located on Ninomiya Park Street, opened less than two years ago. Master Takahashi-san named his family-owned restaurant “Parfum” because he wanted each customer to open the door to the aroma of delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. Takahashi-san says he has “an enthusiastic heart for cooking that he really wishes to convey to his customers.”
Takahashi spent years in Shibuya honing his culinary specialties of fish, beefsteak brochette and a variety of tasty pastas. I enjoyed the pickled lotus root slices in the salad, a delicious minestrone sausage soup and then seafood pasta. The desert plate featured four lovely treats followed by an espresso. Lunch sets (salad, soup, bread, main meal, dessert and drink) are “elegance at a bargain,” around 1,400JP.
Parfum is open for lunch and dinner everyday except Monday. Evening orders can be made until 9 pm.
