Author: Author unknown, Issue: November 1996, Topic: Events
Even though this is the November issue (albeit a little late this month), we need to include information on holiday events coming up in early December. More details of the Christmas/New Year's holiday events will, of course, appear in the December issue (due out around Dec. 11, a bit earlier than the usual mid-month scheduling).
Christmas Lights The Tsukuba Christian Center/YMCA building and surrounding trees, etc. are decorated during the month of December with thousands of lights and other Christmasy things. Pictures taken last year are being featured in the Joyo Living along with a schedule of events, including a nightly "open house" from Dec. 15 to 23 from 6 to 9 pm with free drinks and snacks. Also, for those away from home and who would like a touch of Christmas, there will be a traditional turkey/pot luck dinner at 6 pm. If you would like to attend, please call Tim at 55-1907.
