Creative House Schedule: Art Therapy And Art Education

Author: Author unknown, Issue: January 1996, Topic: Events

We will open a new therapy group for English speakers: DREAM THERAPY. A short interview prior to entry ensures everyone that we will all be able to work well together. We will meet for 8 consecutive Wednesdays, beginning January 24th. The meeting time is 6 to 7:30 pm. This group is limited to just 4 people, and the total fee is 20,000 yen.

Many people are longing to be more creative but do not have a place to do it; so the Friday ART STUDIO (10 am - noon beginning Jan. 26) is a time for people to devote themselves to the formation and shaping of their images. A wide range of materials and storage space are available, and so you can really get into your art process. There will be a brief sharing time at the end of the session. Thus, if you feel you need more time to talk, private therapy would be more appropriate. The cost is 2000 yen each time, and a baby-sitter is available for an additional 1500 yen.

Art Education Schedules:

Saturday Art for Kids is from 1:30 to 3:00 for English speakers, and 3:30 - 5:00 for Japanese. There is a limit of 6 kids in each class, and the monthly fee is 5000 yen.

Family Art Time: There will be none in January, but we will have Candle making on Sunday, Feb. 4th and 11th from 2 - 4 pm. The cost is 1000 yen per person and 100 yen per 100 grams of wax.
