The planetarium at the Expo Center will be featuring a Christmas special on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 pm. Entitled "A Christmas For You", a variety of Christmas music will be played in glorious stereo while you view the simulated night sky in comfortable, reclining chairs. Who knows? You might just see Santa and his sleigh crossing the sky! Adults, 700 yen, children 350 yen.
Likewise, beginning Dec. 3, the entrance hall will feature a giant Christmas tree, Santa Claus, and various games to enjoy before or after you view the science exhibits. On Sunday, Dec. 22nd, there will also be a special showing of the popular children's animated movie entitled "Rantaro" on the planetarium screen, with showings at 1:30 and 3:30 pm. Advance tickets go on sale from Nov. 19 for 900 yen for adults and 450 yen for children.
