Head Of French Pavilion To Speak At Tsukuba University

Author: Author unknown, Issue: May 1996, Topic: Events, Speeches

Jacques Kerigi (name taken from Katakana, so spelling uncertain), presently the head of the French Pavilion and the former president of the Lyon University of Library Science, will be speaking on the history of Egyptian libraries on May 17 (5 pm) in the International Conference Room of the University Hall. He will be using slides during his talk to show these ancient libraries, how present day libraries have developed from that and what the future of libraries is. Presumably, he will be speaking in French, which will then be translated into Japanese.
