Help Philippine Landslide Victims

Author: Becks Laza, Issue: March 2006, Topic: Donations

You are probably aware by now of the disastrous landslide that occurred in the southern part of Leyte, Philippines burying almost the whole town under the mudslide.

In order to help the victims, we, at the Tsukuba Catholic Church, are soliciting donations and are going to engage in some fund-raising activities, i.e. "foods and goods sale" at the Tsukuba Catholic Church on March 12 and 19 immediately after the English mass at 8:00 am ( to about 10 am). If you are interested to help us in our efforts, please contact:

Elvie Suto (029-874-4765; suto[AT]sam.hi-ho.ne.jp) Becks Laza (029-837-2180; mrclaza18[AT]yahoo.com)

All monetary donations will be sent to the victims through CARITAS, Japan.

Thank you very much.
