The third in a series of dialogs on various aspects of religious faith will take place Sunday afternoon, March 8 from 2 to 5 pm at the Tsukuba Information Center (3F). The topic of this dialog is: "Why should people believe in any religion at all?" Presentations from the standpoints of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism and "Scientific Secularism" are on the schedule.
The format will be that of a 10-20 minute talk by each presenter to be followed by questions and answers. The formal session will be followed by a period of informal discussion around light refreshments. For further information, call Tariq at 59-0838 or Tim at 55-1907.
The International Women's Network (IWN) is a group of women who enjoy chatting with people from all over the world. We hold a monthly potluck dinner where we exchange information about the local community while eating a variety of foods. No reservation is needed to attend the potluck. Just bring one dish of food and show up at the meeting. Newcomers are always welcome! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to enjoy the international city of Tsukuba with us!
