Japanese Cooking Class: July 2006

Do you want to learn how to cook Japanese food?

Ms. Terasaki is a certified chef with vast experience teaching the art of Japanese cuisine. We're looking for 20 people to come to her class on the date and time above to share in her vast knowledge and experience. Let's get together and have a good time learning to cook with her.

Place: Kasuga Public Hall Cooking Room (2-36-1, Kasuga)
Content: Japanese Homemade Cooking
Lecture: Ms. Terasaki Hideko
Capacity: 20 people (on a first come basis)
Enrolment: 1,000 yen/per person

  • Lotus Kimpira
  • Mitsumame

Mitsumame is a kind of Japanese sweet that uses a kind of gelatin made of Tengusa (Agar-agar, a kind of seaweed), brown beans and small pieces of seasonal fruits served with dark sugar syrup. Tsukemono (pickles)

The menu might change a little depending on which fresh ingredients are available.
