Sometimes it is hard to choose doctors and dentists when you are in a new place. It is even harder when you can't speak the language, or don't have friends yet who can recommend good clinics. Alien Times is happy to be a place where you can share your recommendations. If you have had a good experience at a clinic or hospital, please send a note to us and we will publish the information. Taking the time to express your opinion may save someone a whole lotta grief in the future!
Here are a couple of dentists that have been recommended.
From Zdenek Slanina: The office is rather close to the Mitsui building. You first go from Mitsui to south-west, after the first main crossroad the road becomes No. 408. After a few hundred meters there is KFC shop and K's Denki shop where you turn left and continue south for about 500 meters. The road goes through rice fields and your target is close to a bigger building with a green roof. Mei-jin has a label outside with read apple, partly eaten. A longer option is to go further on No. 408 and eventually turn to east. I have been had very positive experiences with the dental service there - it is friendly and efficient.
If you are looking for an English dentist and you don't mind travelling to Tokyo, here are some options.
