Author: Shaney Crawford, Issue: July 2006, Topic: Restaurants
This is a lovely cafe south of Route 354. It's a bit difficult to find, but definitely worth the effort. This is one of those places where you don't place an order. If you go during "meal" time, you will get served a particular set meal for 1260 yen (including coffee/tea and dessert). If you go during "snack" time, you will pay 840 yen for a dessert and a drink. It is probably a good idea to make a reservation, because it is quite a popular place. There is also a gallery and a jewellery store in the same building. (The jewellery shop is open from 11:30am to 6pm.)
