The23rd Psalm

Author: Author unknown, Issue: February 1996, Topic: Humour

As this is the season for grading final exams (at least according to the Japanese school year), we thought the teachers (and students) among our readers would appreciate this rendition of Psalm 23 by an anonymous author.

The 23rd Qualm

The prof is my quizmaster; I know I shall flunk.
He maketh me to enter the examination,
He leadeth me to an alternate seat,
He restoreth my fears.
Yea, though I know not the answers to the questions,
I will fear no evil, for others are with me.
The class average comforteth me.
I preparest my answers in the presence of my roommates;
I anoint my blue book with answers.
My time runneth out.
Surely poor grades will follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in this class forever.
