Tokyo Immigration Office To Move

Author:Author unknown, Issue: January 2003, Topic: Immigration

It seems that not only is the Ibaraki Immigration Office moving to a place that is probably even more inconvenient for those of us in Tsukuba, but now the main Tokyo office that has been at Otemachi is also moving, effective February 3, 2003. The new address and phone number are:

5-5-30, Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo Tel. 03-5796-7111

The office is a 15 minute walk from Tennozu-Isle Station on the Tokyo monorail or the Tokyo Rinkai Line.

Please see the December 2002 issue of AT for information about the Mito Immigration Office.

The International Women's Network (IWN) is a group of women who enjoy chatting with people from all over the world. We hold a monthly potluck dinner where we exchange information about the local community while eating a variety of foods. No reservation is needed to attend the potluck. Just bring one dish of food and show up at the meeting. Newcomers are always welcome! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to enjoy the international city of Tsukuba with us!
