Are you one of those people who look forward to each issue of the Alien Times so that you can read something in English? Finding reasonably priced pleasure books in English is a real challenge here in Japan. Herefs a wonderful opportunity to add to your English book library.
On June 23, Tsukuba Catholic Church is selling over 200 books of all sorts. Childrenfs books are bargain priced at hard cover for 100 yen and soft cover for 50 yen. Adult books are available in a wide range of subjects: design, history, architecture, memoirs, healthcare, etc. You can also find many fiction and non-fiction books published by Penguin Books. Adult books range from 200 yen for soft cover to 450 yen for large, hard cover books.
Profits will go to the Tsukuba Catholic Church Childrenfs Group. Please take this opportunity to help some children and find enjoyable reading material IN ENGLISH at a REASONABLE PRICE. The sale begins at 11:30AM on Sunday, June 23rd at Tsukuba Catholic Church located at 261-1 Teshirogi, Tsukuba (near the intersection of 408 and the road that runs in front of Hanamasa meat shop).
