Yoga Class In Tsukuba: June 1998

Author: Author Unknown, Issue: June 1998, Topic: Classes

Ken Harakuma, director of the International Yoga Center in Tokyo, will be giving a class in Tsukuba combining the various techniques of Yoga, stretching, breathing and relaxation. It is recommended for stress-releasing and rebalancing mind, body and spirit.

Ken is a gifted and experienced teacher. He has studied with many internationally renowned teachers from all over the world. We are lucky to have him in Tsukuba twice a month.

The class has been popular among foreigners and Japanese since November 1997. Everyone is welcome to participate (even absolute beginners). The two classes take place May 11 and 25 at the Namiki Kominkan. For more info, call Svetlana Lambrozo at 51-5916. Please note that there might be changes in the schedule.

The International Women's Network (IWN) is a group of women who enjoy chatting with people from all over the world. We hold a monthly potluck dinner where we exchange information about the local community while eating a variety of foods. No reservation is needed to attend the potluck. Just bring one dish of food and show up at the meeting. Newcomers are always welcome! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to enjoy the international city of Tsukuba with us!
