For anyone interested in their health and well-being... you are in luck! The Tsukuba Community Yoga Group (TCYG) has recently commenced teaching yoga classes.
Yoga is a great way to enhance ones physical and mental health. Yoga promotes; strength, flexibility, structural alignment, proper functioning of various body systems, and mental steadiness to name a few. The yoga classes offer the student a chance to relax, unwind, and move the body. After focusing on breathing awareness, body movement, and relaxation, you walk away feeling centered and calm. The instructors believe that the mind, the body, and the breath are one…. and through the practice of yoga we can bring harmony to our being. The group would like everyone to experience the benefits that have long been associated with regular yoga practice.
The TCYG provides students with a unique opportunity to practice both yoga and their English simultaneously, as classes are taught in English. Prices are very reasonable, as the instructors feel that the opportunity to practice yoga should be made available to all. The group is currently running four classes per week. Two of these classes are Mother and Child yoga classes, where mothers can bring their young babies and children to class. The remaining two classes are for adults and include; a beginners and a general level class.
