Tsukuba will hold its first ever orientation for foreign residents on April 28, 2007 at Ninomiya House with the cooperation of Tsukuba City Hall, Alien Times, and other local organizations. We are working with various individuals and organizations in the Tsukuba community to offer an event that will help newcomers to our city learn important information about living in Tsukuba.

• Date: Saturday, April 28, 2007
• Time: 12:30 to 4pm (followed by Tsukuba Meet and Greet)
• Place: Tsukuba Capio Ninomiya House

This orientation is being held at a small-scale as a test case for future orientations. If this one goes well, it is expected to lead to future orientations to be held annually in April.

This event is being generously sponsored by Welcome to Tsukuba, a new local business that is working to make Tsukuba a more welcoming place for foreign residents and visitors.
