Check Your National Heater

Author: Masako Okamoto, Issue: February 2006, Topic: Safety, Household

I am writing this article in case any of you missed the notice from the manufacturer. It seems like some kerosene heaters made by National co. (Matsushita) between 1985 and 1992 may cause an accident. You can check the model numbers on this page.

If you have a heater that has any of those model numbers, please stop using it and call the company.

0120-872-773 (Toll Free)

The company will provide safety check for free, and if you wish, they will take the heater back with 50,000 yen refund.

You can find more info about this issue here.
http://national.jp/ (in Japanese, I could not find English page).
